As part of the event, I can tell you that there was no glorification of violence in the entire morning. Our police and emergency responders have no "real" experience in securing and dealing with a school shooting or emergency on that scale, including triage of victims with a variety of wounds and conditions, rescue of students in a shooting situation who may be shot, epileptic, or diabetic, all while trying to secure a location that's been compromised with intruders, possibly leaving IEDs. Unfortunately, we already live in a death culture, so it's incumbent upon the authorities to do whatever necessary to prepare themselves for real potential threats that could occur in our community. As a teacher who was involved in this event, I learned firsthand how a potential intruder event could realistically occur and feel better prepared to protect my students in the case of such an event.

Wahoo!! What a great idea to do a "live drill" in a school with fake blood and people flipping out. Welcome to the death culture as its alive and well in a small town near you. Never thought I'd see the day of such despair and depravity.
