Kentucky State Police say a man who had been missing since Sunday has been found dead in a creek in Breathitt County.

Police say a search for Daryl Anthony Turner, 32, turned up nothing after he went missing.

According to authorities, a man's body was found lying in a creek Tuesday at 12:50 p.m. A preliminary investigation revealed that Turner was riding an ATV when he lost control, ran over an embankment, and rolled into the creek.

Turner was pronounced dead at the scene by the Breathitt County coroner. Turner's body has been sent to the medical examiner's office for an autopsy.
