There were some anxious moments in downtown Paris on Tuesday afternoon.

State Police said the owner of an antique store on Main Street found an old military explosive in a box that had been purchased at an estate sale of a World War II Veteran.

Police blocked off Main Street for two hours while the State Police Bomb Squad was called-in.

The device was removed from the business without incident.

No word yet on whether the device was still active.
