Afternoon Update:

Enjoy the warm temps with peaks of sunshine this afternoon.  Into the evening and overnight hours with the approach of a Cold Front, it may act to trigger showers and storms to develop, a few of which could be heavy and strong at times.

Good morning!

Watch out for areas of fog this morning. After that fog dissipates, you'll see a little more sunshine in the Blue Grass. After lunch time, we're looking for a few more clouds with a splash and dash shower or storm. Most of the afternoon looks good as highs reach mid to upper 80s under partly cloudy skies.  Into the evening hours, our forecast models are suggesting a thin but intense band of heavy showers and strong storms to push through. Be on the look out for localized ponding on the roads with any thunderstorms that do develop.  Overnight lows should fall into the mid 60s.
