Mental Evaluation Ordered For Man Charged With Stalking A Lexington Woman

A judge ordered a mental evaluation and medication check for the man accused of stalking and threatening a Lexington woman.

It will be used to determine if James Caldwell is competent to stand trial.

Caldwell disappeared in late May.

Police said he was considered a danger to himself and others.

Investigators said he wrote a letter threatening to kill a former co-worker.

His next court appearance will be June 26th.
