Fifty men on the Western Kentucky University campus traded their normal footwear for high heels Thursday.

The men took part in a mile walk around campus to raise awareness about sexual abuse and violence against women. The men said the walk in five inch stilettos was not easy.

The walk raised at least one thousand dollars for a local rape crisis center.
