Memorial Fund Set Up For Bourbon County Soccer Coach Killed In Crash

A memorial fund has been set up for an assistant soccer coach in Bourbon County who was killed over the weekend in a car accident.

The Fayette County Coroner's office said Jose Soriano, Junior, 22, of Paris, died early Saturday morning in a car accident on Briar Hill Road.

Soriano was a 2010 graduate of Bourbon County High School.

He was a student at Bluegrass Community & Technical College and was an assistant soccer coach at Bourbon County Middle School.

The memorial fund was set up to ease the financial burden on Soriano's family in Paris.

You can donate to the Jose Soriano, Jr. Memorial Fund at Kentucky Bank in Paris. 
The visitation will be Wednesday, April 30, from 10:00 a.m.-Noon at the Church of the Annunciation in Paris.  The funeral will immediately follow the visitation.

There will also be a memorial and lantern release at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, May 2, at the Bourbon County soccer complex next to Cane Ridge Elementary School.
