It was a packed house in Frankfort Wednesday for a hearing on legalizing medical marijuana in Kentucky.

Backers say medical marijuana could help with all kinds of illnesses.

State Senator Perry Clark of Louisville sponsored the bill.

If it passed, doctors would be able to prescribe pot.

Clark says it is not an effort to legalize all marijuana.
