McConnell Campaign Has More Ad Trouble

After an online video promoting Senator Mitch McConnell's campaign mistakenly showed a clip of Duke's basketball players rejoicing over a national championship, McConnell's team is now trying to reconcile the use of another basketball clip.

The video featured UK basketball star Julius Randle, which a representative of the university said is not permissible.

Although the footage is not a violation of the NCAA, it was used without the knowledge or permission of Randle or the University of Kentucky, according to a statement from UK.

McConnell's campaign, Team Mitch, has said the online ad has been removed and that they have worked with the university to resolve the problem and to make sure further mistakes are avoided.
