One man told us he will file a complaint with the election commission.

A state Senator told us he'd never seen anything like it.

Somebody put six Matt Bevin for senate signs up on the capitol lawn.

Bevin is challenging U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell in the Republic primary.

A spokesperson with the finance cabinet tells us it is legal to put signs up on capitol property, but frowned upon.

A capitol facilities worker removed the signs after lunch.

We spoke to a Bevin supporter who took the signs, instead of letting them be thrown out.

"If here at the capitol in the state of Kentucky we're embracing the idea of free speech, 2nd amendment right, then we should embrace it, not exclude it," said Art Miller, Bevin supporter.

The 2nd amendment is the right to bear arms, and the 1st provides the right to free speech.

We reached out to Bevin's campaign, and have not heard back as of publishing.
