Marty Roe Trial Picks Back Up Monday

The defense is expected to start call their witnesses during the week.
The prosecution in the Marty Roe trial has tried to paint a picture of the defendant as a man obsessed with the victim who ultimately became a crazed killer.

The prosecution said Roe had left countless messages for Post over months.

They say Roe became more and more desperate, calling and texting from six different numbers.

Post's sister and daughter both testified that they knew about the messages from Roe, and that when they learned Post was murdered they  thought of one person...Marty Roe.

As the trial moves into the second week, the defense will take center stage as they begin to call their witnesses.

The defense will try to prove that Post's husband Dr. Robert Truitt was going after the one and a half million dollar life insurance policy Post had, and that he was responsible for his wife's murder.
