Marquis Teague read the papers and blogs.  He saw the "why are we starting this kid?" campaigns.  His response once he settled in at Kentucky...resounding.

Teague earned SEC freshman of the week honors for averaging 12.5 points, 9.5 assists and 3.5 rebounds in wins over #8 Florida and on the road at Vanderbilt.

Against the Gators Teague notched his first career double-double, scoring 12 points and dishing out 10 assists.
