Marathon Clerk Remembered At Station Mural

The memory of a Marathon clerk who was killed on the job will linger for years to come at the store where he was shot.

The final touches have been put on a mural painted on the side of the Alexandria Drive building where Mike Patel was murdered on December 9th.

In bold lettering, the mural features an anti-violence saying from Ghandi.

Dani Green, who was a friend of Patel's, set to work on the painting before Christmas.

She admits the weather made it difficult to get the mural finished, but support from the Marathon station and donations from Home Depot helped her pull through.
