Man's Best Friend Graduates From UK

A UK graduate was accompanied by her four-legged friend as she received her diploma.
More than four thousand students graduated from University of Kentucky on Sunday....they were also joined by one dog.

Elementary Education Graduate Logan Bright brought up a one-year-old black lab named 'Deja-Vu' to the stage to receive her diploma.

'Deja-Vu' is part of UK's '4 Paws For Ability' program which was founded by Bright when she first arrived on campus three years ago.

Bright and other students volunteer to train the dogs to become service pets for children with disabilities.

Bright wanted to bring the dog up to the stage to show people that service dogs can go anywhere their masters go.

The Mason, Ohio native trained six dogs in her three years at UK.

Even though she's leaving the school to pursue a career as a teacher in either Nashville or here in Lexington, her program is carrying on and gaining popularity.

This year 22 dogs are being trained.
