A man was taken to the hospital after he said he was stabbed while walking down a Lexington street.

Police said the man told them he was walking down York Street just before 1:30 a.m. Thursday when he came across another man and started arguing with him.

He told police that’s when the man stabbed him in the stomach.

Police said he didn’t have a good description of the suspect.

He was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Police said this was the second stabbing in three hours that they responded to in the area.

They were called to Loudon Avenue around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday after a man was stabbed in the shoulder.

Police said the wound was minor and he wasn’t taken to the hospital.

No arrests have been made in either incident and police said they are not related.
