Man Stabbed To Death In Powell County

State Police say a Powell County man was stabbed to death last night in Clay City.

Police say they found Kelly McCoy, 50, at 115 First Avenue around 5:30 p.m. where he was unresponsive.

According to Police, McCoy had been visiting Terrance Wagner, 67, at his house. They say the two had been arguing. Wagner stabbed McCoy, which resulted in his death.

Police arrested Wagner and charged him with 1st degree murder. He is currently in the Powell County Jail.

The case remains under investigation.
