Man Robs Bank In Mays Lick

Police said a man wearing an Atlanta Braves baseball hat, sunglasses and a rag over his face, robbed a bank in Mason County Tuesday morning.

Investigators said the man walked into a People's Bank in Mays Lick around 11:40 a.m., implied he had a weapon, demanded money, stuffed it in a plastic bag and took off.

Police said there weren't any customers in the bank at the time of the robbery.

No one was hurt.

Investigators said the robber left the bank in a vehicle. 

A suspect description has been given to Law Enforcement agencies, including Lexington Police, who were told the robber may have been headed toward Lexington.
