A man told officers he was walking home in the McCullough Drive area when seven men and three girls approached him, according to Lexington police.

Investigators said one of the men pulled a handgun and demanded the individual's phone and wallet.

The man reportedly handed over around $40 in cash and gave up his iPhone before the other six men jumped him, resulting in minor injuries to his face and head.

Everyone in the group then took off in different directions, according to officers.

No arrests have been made.
