The man accused of killing a Lexington teenager say he's not guilty of the crime.

Ernest Wheeler III, 20, was in court via video arraignment on Tuesday. He is accused of shooting Patrick Puckett, 18, to death last Wednesday in the hallway of a Ryan Circle apartment building in Lexington.

Investigators said Wheeler turned himself into police Friday night, after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Puckett was a student at Bryan Station High School who had just recently transferred to Henry Clay High School.
