A man was knocked unconscious during a robbery at an auto body shop in Lexington on Tuesday night.
Police said it happened at around 11 p.m. at Metro Auto Body on Majaun Road.
They said the man was approached by another man who asked him for a cigarette and some change then hit him in the face, knocking him unconscious.
The suspect reportedly stole cash from the victim and took off.
When the victim woke up, he told police he couldn't get his cell phone to work so he had to walk to a nearby gas station to report the crime.
 No arrests have been made.
