Man Jumped And Robbed After Leaving Store

 Lexington police were called to a convenience store after a man reported he was jumped and robbed early Monday morning.
 Police said the man told them he got a ride and he and the driver stopped at the Shell Station on Athens-Boonesboro road at around 1 a.m.
 He said, as he and the other man were coming out of the store, another man ran up to him,  knocked him to the ground and took his backpack.
 Police said, when they arrived, the driver was gone.
 The man was not injured, according to police.
 They are still searching for the suspect.
