Man Injured In Motorcycle Accident

A man was hurt when his motorcycle hit a car in Lexington.

Police say Andrew Mahoney’s motorcycle rear-ended a Ford Mustang on New Circle Road between Tates Creek Road and Alumni.

It happened around 2:30 a.m.

Police say Mahoney was thrown from the motorcycle and then another vehicle ran over his legs. According to the report, he was not wearing a helmet.

He is now in serious condition at UK Hospital.
