A Staffordsville, Kentucky man has been indicted on child pornography charges.
A Rowan County grand jury indicted Eric LeMaster, 21, a former Morehead State University student, on February 17 on one count of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor and one count of distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.
A search warrant was executed on January 31 at LeMaster’s residence at Morehead State, with assistance from campus police. LeMaster turned himself over to police on February 24. He was released from the Rowan County Detention Center after posting bail.
The charges against LeMaster are the result of an undercover investigation that began on January 23 by Kentucky's Cybercrimes Unit. Prosecution of this case is being handled by the office of Keen Johnson, Commonwealth’s Attorney for the 21st Judicial Circuit.
