A Fayette County Grand Jury has indicted Gerardo Turcios Rodriguez, 29, on murder and tampering with physical evidence charges in connection to a June stabbing death.

On June 2nd, Lexington Police said neighbors found Douglas Saylor, 66, of Lexington, in a pool of blood on his kitchen floor on Elsmere Park.

Police said Saylor had been stabbed about 30-times.

Investigators said Rodriguez was a friend and part-time employee of Saylor's.

Rodriguez was arrested in Illinois about two weeks after the killing.
