Lexington Police are searching for who’s responsible for a seemingly random drive-by shooting.

Police said a man was walking through the parking lot of Riptide on the River after an event around 2:30 a.m. Monday.

That’s when they said a car passed on Old Richmond Road and someone inside the car started shooting.

The man was shot in the leg. He was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Police said they found at least 10 shell casings on the street.

Riptide workers said to their knowledge, there were no arguments or problems that occurred during the event.
