Police say he had a one-step meth lab in a Nicholasville Walmart.

Now that man, James Prater, is headed to jail for a long time.

The Somerset Commonwealth-Journal says James Prater was sentenced to 38 years behind bars because he violated the terms of a Pulaski County bond.

The newspaper says Prater was supposed to be on home incarceration after another drug case.

But police say he'd removed his monitoring bracelet.

The meth lab was found on a November morning.

It forced the store to be evacuated.
