Woman Arrested In Deadly Knott County Stabbing

A woman is arrested and charged with murder, following an argument in Knott County.

Kentucky State Police say two people were fighting in the Amburgey Community of Knott County Saturday.

Troopers arrived at a residence on Perkins Madden Road and discovered Jonathon Sparkman, 27, of Topmost Kentucky  with multiple stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident by the Knott County Coroner Office.

Kentucky State Police arrested Kayla Sparkman, 25, and charged her with murder. Sparkman was lodged in the Kentucky River Regional Jail. This case is still being investigated by Kentucky State Police in Hazard.
