Man Drowns In Harrison County

The Cynthiana Fire Department says they found the body of a man who drown last night in Harrison County.

According to officials, Jeremy Booker, 23, and his girlfriend Kimberly Grimes were swimming near the Robinson Dam around 7 p.m. last night.

When Grimes was pulled under by the dam’s water current, Booker went in to save her. But Booker hit his head and went under.

Crews searched for Booker through the night. They say they found his body at 9:43 a.m.
