Man Donates Winning Pick 4 Ticket At Keeneland Worth $26,000 To Charity

A Georgia man, who didn't give his name, donated a winning Pick 4 ticket at Keeneland worth $26,000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation after the final race of the day on Thursday.
Here's a story that will renew your faith in man.

Thursday was 'Make-A-Wish Day' at Keeneland in Lexington.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants wishes of children with life- threatening medical conditions.

The sixth annual 'Make-A-Wish Day' at the race course featured nine children who were given a VIP experience, which included presenting trophies in the winner's circle.

Moments after the ninth and final race of the day, a man from Marietta, Georgia, who didn't give his name, donated his winning Pick 4 ticket worth $26,000 to the organization.

After making the donation, the man disappeared into the crowds leaving the track.

"To have such a phenomenal gift like this is just inspiring.  It speaks volumes to the courage of our kids, the power of their stories and the power of the wish.  This gift is really going to help us grant more wishes.  It's really, really generous to have someone walk up and literally grant several wishes," said Make-A-Wish Marketing Communications Coordinator Emily Denholm.
