A man is dead after an overnight stabbing in Lexington…

Police were called to the Lincoln Terrace Apartments just after 1:00 a.m. Thursday.

When they arrived, they found a man lying unresponsive inside one of the apartments.

They say he had been stabbed multiple times. He was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.

Police took a suspect into custody for questioning, but no charges have been filed.

That suspect had to be treated for a cut to his arm.

Police have not yet released the names of those involved.

They say the investigation is still ongoing.
