State police say a man is in critical condition after a fire in Russell County.
Police say Lyle Hawkins suffered second- and third-degree burns after a house fire on Christmas Day at his home in Jamestown. Police do not suspect foul play, but the cause of the house fire has not been announced.
Hawkins was flown to the Vanderbilt Burn Center in Nashville, where he is in critical condition.
