Man Chases Down Suspect In Truck Break-In

A man took matters into his own hands after he witnessed someone breaking into his truck.

Lexington Police said the break-in happened around 3:30 Wednesday morning on Pyke Road.

The victim chased a woman down, stopping her on Virginia Avenue until police made it to the scene.

That woman was not arrested but another woman she was with was taken into custody for outstanding warrants according to police.

They said they are also searching for a third person.

Police said the victim was able to recover some of the items taken from his truck
