Court Documents Reveal More About Man Charged With Threatening Congressman Andy Barr

The FBI says Russell Little left messages threatening Congressman Andy Barr and former Congressman Ben Chandler.
Investigators say it wasn't just Congressman Andy Barr a man threatened to harm.

In a court document, an FBI agent wrote Russell Little made several expletive-laden threats against Congressman Barr and also former Congressman Ben Chandler.

An FBI agent said every threat Little made included him wanting access to his medical records.

The FBI said Little left messages at Barr's office, even though some of them threatened Chandler.

Here's one threat the FBI said came from Little:

"Let me tell you something Mr. Chandler, I'll  blow a (expletive) bullet in your (expletive) head (unintelligible) you (expletive).  Now who's got my (expletive) medical records!"

The FBI said the messages began in April.  The FBI said in June Little admitted to making the calls, and promised to stop; however, the FBI said the calls continued into the summer.

The FBI said when KSP tried to arrest Little he led them on a 40-mile car chase.  When troopers arrested Little, the FBI said he had a loaded gun in his car.

Right now, Little is only charged for threatening Barr.  In court Wednesday, the prosecution said more charges could be coming.

This is a federal case, because the FBI said the phone calls from a cell-phone and at some point the calls passed through a tower in New York.  This made it an inter-state crime.
