A Lawrenceburg man has been charged with murder for a shooting in Anderson County.

Timothy Branson, 48, has been charged with the murder of his wife.

Police say Modena Sutton Branson, 50, was pronounced dead by the Anderson County coroner Monday.

Timothy Branson has been arrested after police say he suffered an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound after shooting her.
He was taken to UK Medical Center, and is now at the Kentucky State Reformatory in Lagrange.

so sad that this happened makes me wonder why.when people get mad or can't handle their anger they have to kill someone. why not leave home till they settle down or stay away and don't ever go home. now 1 dead and 1 in prison for life . this is so sad maryellenthurman
