The Laurel County Sheriff's Office said an arrest was made in a hit and run investigation.

Deputies said Randy E. Stewart of Lily was driving drunk Friday on US 25 when he hit a car with his pickup.

According to investigators, Stewart then hit a guardrail as he sped away.

The sheriff's office said Stewart's abandoned pickup was found later on KY 552 East.
