A Laurel County man is arrested in a child abuse investigation.
Police say Dylan Mebs, 20, is charged with second degree assault.
Officers found a two-year-old boy with bruising and marks all over his body at a home on Fariston Road, injuries they say they believe are consistent with being struck by an object.
Police say Mebs is the boyfriend of the child's mother, and told them he thought he struck the child too hard. Police say Mebs told them he became angry when the toddler urinated on him.
The child was taken to St. Joseph Hospital in London for treatment.
