A man is arrested in a shooting investigation in Jackson County.

Chester Collett, was arrested on Sacker Road in Manchester in connection to a shooting that occurred in McKee. 

Collett was lodged in the Jackson County Jail and charged with three counts of first degree wanton endangerment, second degree assault, and domestic violence and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

On Saturday, police were contacted by the Jackson County 911 Center requesting assistance with a female on Doolittle Road. As troopers were responding to the scene additional information was received that the female had been shot in both legs.

Preliminary investigation revealed that Sharon Eversole was shot through a door with a shotgun and received minor injuries to her legs.

Eversole refused medical treatment from the Jackson County EMS but was transported to a hospital in Manchester by family members.
