A Lexington man who was shot to death on Chestnut Street about month ago, was apparently killed while committing a robbery.

Police say 41-year old James Fisher was shot by someone inside a house that Fisher and another man were breaking-in to.

Police say they don't know if the person who shot Fisher will be charged.

They're still investigating.

Fisher's alleged accomplice is 41-year old Perry White of Louisville.

He was charged in the case on Thursday.
