Man Arrested For Impersonating A Constable

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says they are investigating a case where a man was impersonating a constable.

On Wednesday deputies responded to a reckless driver call on I-64 near mile marker 55.

When man was pulled over deputies say the driver of pickup was 34-year-old Christopher Kessinger of Lawrenceburg.

According to the Franklin County Sheriff Kessinger displayed a fake constable’s badge but was unable to produce a valid I.D for the badge.

Officials say Kessinger was under the in influence of some type of drug.

He has been charged with careless driving, DUI 1st off .08 alc/drugs/etc and Impersonating Police Officer.
