An overnight crash in Lexington sent one woman to the hospital and a man to jail.

It happened around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday on Newtown Pike near Fourth Street.

Police said Christopher Hook, 47, was going about 60 miles per hour when he rear-ended another car.

The woman driving that car was taken to the hospital with what police called minor injuries.

Hook wasn’t hurt. He was arrested on the scene and charged with DUI.
