According to police, a man was drunk when he drove away from a crash with his 7-year-old son in the car.
Brian Pennie, 31, was arrested just after 6:30 p.m. Friday.
Police said Pennie had been drinking when he picked his son up from school.
According to a police citation, on their way home, they were involved in a crash at Man O’ War and Habersham.
Pennie took off but was later found and arrested at his home.
He faces charges for wanton endangerment and leaving the scene of an accident.
