Man Accused Of Stabbing Roommate

Lexington Police said an argument between roommates landed one in jail and the other in the hospital Monday night.

Investigators said Jeffery Brown, 53, of Lexington, stabbed his roommate in the forearm with a steak knife.

Police said it happened near Triple Crown Parkway and Grandstand Drive.

The victim, whose name wasn't released, was taken to UK Hospital with what police called "non-life threatening injuries."

Police said Brown was charged with Assault 1st Degree.

He was lodged in the Fayette County Detention Center.
