A man pleaded 'not guilty' Monday of beating his sister and stabbing her several times with a pocket knife and screwdriver.

Richmond Police said Patrick Hamner was arrested Friday at a home on Woods Trail.

Officers were called to the house because of a reported domestic disturbance.

They said they found Patrick Hamner inside the house and his sister on the ground, covered in blood.

Hamner's sister is reportedly in critical condition at UK Hospital.
