Man Accused Of Rape & Kidnapping

Police accuse a man of grabbing, stabbing, kidnapping and raping a woman early Monday morning.

Police say the man grabbed the woman at her home in Estill County around four a.m. State police say he stabbed her, then took her to Madison County, where he assaulted her.

According to police, the woman was able to call 911 from the man's home, and he left when he realized she had called police.

Berea police later arrested Geraldo Ortiz, Junior. He's now accused of rape, assault, and kidnapping.
