Man Accused Of Leaving 2-Year-Old Son In Hot Car

Police arrested Kenneth S. Robinson, 33, of London and charged with wanton endangerment.
Police say a Laurel County man has been arrested, after his son was left inside a hot car.

According to authorities, just after 12:30 p.m. on Monday a complaint was received about a child left unattended in a car in the parking lot of Patton-Chestnut and Binder Insurance Agency, located on South Main Street in London.

The source making the complaint told authorities that the child was breathing and had been removed from the hot car. Upon officers' arrival, police say they determined that the 2-year-old boy had been left in a vehicle by the child's father, Kenneth S. Robinson, for approximately two hours.

The windows of the vehicle were completely rolled up.  The outside air temperature during this time was at least 85 degrees. The child was taken to St. Joseph Hospital of London for treatment.

Robinson was arrested and charged with first degree wanton endangerment and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
