It's official.

Maker's Mark has changed its mind and will not alter the alcohol content of its whiskey.

A statement about it came Monday on facebook.

A week ago Maker's Mark announced in a letter that it would lower its alcohol content from 45% to 42%, because of increased demand.

Customers didn't like the sound of that.

So Maker's Mark now says it will resume production of whiskey with 45% alcohol content.
