Make-A-Wish Surprises Teenager With Golf Club Membership

Make-A-Wish surprised Ben Highland, 16, with a two-year membership to the Keene Run Golf Club in Jessamine County on Friday night.
Ben Highland, 16, loves to play golf.  His grandfather introduced him to the game and he fell in love with it immediately.

Sometimes a heart condition gets in Ben's way and keeps him off the course.

He suffers from Brugada syndrome, which is a life-threatening heart disease.

Ben's wish was to have a membership in a golf club.

On Friday, when he walked in to the Keene Run Golf Club in Jessamine County, he had no idea his wish was about to come true.

Make-A-Wish gave Ben a two year membership to the golf club.

He was surprised, humbled and grateful.
