Parts of Madison County will be under a boil water advisory beginning Thursday morning at 8 a.m.

The areas effected are 3997 to 4655 Irvine Road, all of Bybee Loop Road, all of Ben Reeves Road, 610 to 631 Waco Loop Road, 420 to 550 Elliston Road and 2084 to 3090 Brassfield Road.

The water department says the advisory is necessary in order to tie in a new water line.

No word on when the advisory will be lifted.
