State Police said a fire that damaged a home on Friday was deliberately set.

State Police said a residential burglar alarm went off around 12:16 p.m. at 2081 Lancaster Road/KY 52 west of Richmond.

Trooper Ken Bradley responded to the home and said smoke and fire was coming from the structure when he arrived.

State Police said an initial investigation revealed that several items were missing from the home.

A reward of up to $1,000 is available.
