A woman in Madison County says a man raped her.
The Sheriff's Office says a deputy was called to a home in the area of Panola and Knob Lick around 3:30 Thursday morning.
The deputy says he found evidence of a fight, and a woman with cuts and bruises.
That woman said she'd been sexually assaulted.
The deputy arrested Scott Cornett of Irvine.
He's accused of rape and kidnapping.
